Years ago, I’ve played Terraria and I got so addicted to eat. It’s one of the games the I patiently played until my character became so powerful. I’m so proud to say that I played it so much that I became so familiar with the whole map. I was able to build a system in the entire map. One thing I’m not proud of is that I was not able to beat the entire game. I became so strong but the bosses were even stronger. That made me realize that I need some help from friends. But I had a small problem. I couldn’t access multiplayer mode. As a student who didn’t have money, I couldn’t buy the original version. Ever since that day, I told myself that I would buy and play the game again someday. Today is the day! Just learned from a friend that Minecraft is available on Steam for half the price. I immediately bought it. If you want to watch me play it, I will play it live on my Twitch channel: twitch.tv/geo_cuber.
What is Terraria?
Terraria is a 2D sandbox game with gameplay that revolves around exploration, building, crafting, combat, survival, and mining, playable in both single-player and multiplayer modes.-Wikipedia
Yes! It’s very similar to Minecraft but it’s 2D. A lot of gamers in fact call it Paper Minecraft. But Terraria has been a gem for me for so many years because for me, it’s better than Minecraft in so many ways. Wait! Before Minecraft lovers try to kill me for saying that, please let me explain. I love Minecraft and I also play it. There are just some things in Terraria that I find amazing. Let me you my top 3 reason below.
Compared to Minecraft, terraria is much cheaper. Yeah because it’s a 2D game but I think it gives the amount fun to players if not more.
One of the things that I’ve been waiting for Minecraft to have are projectiles like guns and super powers. Modded versions of Minecraft probably have them but the gameplay experience is so different when play with lasers and bouncing bullets in a 2D world.
Minecraft has the Ender Dragon but Terraria offers more amazing challenges.
In addition to the things I mentioned above, other things that are better in Terraria are flight, pets, magic, grappling, more elements, teleporters, easier control, etc.
